The FAA AD does not apply to spindles converted by Airwolf's STC!

Per comment "D" in the comment section of the AD; The FAA states that spindles converted by Airwolf are no longer -11 or -13 spindles and therefore the AD does not apply to them.

Please note that the wording of the FAA's comment in the AD is a bit confusing. The wording says that the FAA does "not agree" that the AD should include verbiage allowing installation of TT Straps. This is because the AD does not apply to spindles converted by Airwolf under its STC. Airwolf converted spindles are a completely different part number AA-28-14385-15. Airwolf spindles do not have any (TIS) limitations.

The conversion kit cost for operators is $16,900.00 Ex Works plus $125 for a special foam box that will protect the spindles and grips that are shipped to us and the complete kit back to you.
